Red Mode with Cooling Period

The Cooling Period is an intermediate state between Blue Mode and Red Mode. It begins when a candidate guard reaches 101 points in Blue Mode and is promoted to Master Guard.

Purpose

The Cooling Period acts as a transition stage. Its role is to validate whether the new Master Guard can withstand intense, community-driven testing before the agent fully returns to Red Mode.

How it works

  • Duration: 12 hours, but may change dynamically.

  • Free attacks: During this period, all probing of the agent is free of charge, so attackers can stress-test without limits.

  • If a leak occurs:

    • The attacker receives the entire fund of the Master Guard.

    • The guard is marked as Broken.

    • The agent immediately returns to Blue Mode to search for a new guard.

  • If no leak occurs within 12 hours:

    • The guard is confirmed as Master Guard.

    • The agent proceeds into normal Red Mode, where interactions are paid and leaks reward attackers with 30% of the agent’s fund.
